- 10+ years IT leadership experience
- Hands-on depth across infrastructure, business applications, information security
- GMP pharma environment experience
- Leadership capabilities for high performing teams

- Comfortable troubleshooting and reviewing architecture
- Comfortable in self-organizing, role-based structure
- Prior experience in CDMO, biopharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or other regulated sectors
- Strong willingness to develop pharmaceutical knowledge
- Demonstrate GxP IT track record (GAMP5, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV)
- GxP IT track record gained in regulated industry (Pharma, Biotech, CDMO or medical services)
- Proven experience evolving IT organizations through scale up phases
- Experience in agile, international environments
- Experience across diverse cultures
- Strong collaboration skills
- Track record managing external vendors and strategic partners
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred
- Fluent English
- Working proficiency in German preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
Tasks
- Architect and execute IT strategy for growth
- Ensure reliable IT infrastructure across sites
- Manage hands-on IT operations when needed
- Develop comprehensive IT policies and documentation
- Scale IT organization for growth and efficiency
- Stabilize and evolve business application landscape
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team
- Drive security and risk awareness training
- Conduct IT risk assessments and mitigation planning
- Ensure regulatory and GxP compliance
- Oversee third-party vendor performance
- Maintain industry-standard IT and security frameworks
- Direct incident response and disaster recovery
