Requirements

• •Experience scaling accounting operations
• •Swiss CPA or equivalent qualification
• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• •5+ years of progressive experience
• •Experience in process improvement and automation
• •Track record building accounting teams
• •Expertise in Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS
• •Strong command of ERP systems
• •Fluency in German and English
• •Professional rigor and data accuracy
• •Natural leadership presence
• •Ability to translate complexity into action

Tasks

• •Lead the end-to-end accounting landscape for Swiss legal entities
• •Build automated closing processes for Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
• •Eliminate manual bottlenecks through intelligent workflows and intercompany automation
• •Establish a robust internal control framework aligned with PCAOB expectations
• •Apply accounting standards to new business models and transactions
• •Ensure compliance with Swiss statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• •Manage annual audits through proactive preparation and data-driven documentation
• •Provide technical guidance on revenue recognition and group reporting
• •Lead and develop a team of over ten accounting professionals
• •Foster a culture of ownership and analytical rigor
• •Architect and optimize the financial technology stack and ERP
• •Implement RPA and AI-powered controls to increase speed
• •Deliver decision-ready financial reporting and insights to senior leadership
• •Build self-service analytics dashboards for real-time financial visibility
