Head of Eurofighter Software Requirements(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Engineering degree (computer science, informatics or equivalent)
- Software development and certification process experience
- Experience in Military Avionics, Mission, Weapon Systems or other safety-critical systems
- Leadership in technical environment
- Project, team, business development experience (preferred)
- Strong product, competition understanding and entrepreneurial spirit
- Innovation, problem-solving skills with strong customer focus
- Constructive conflict management ability
- Eurofighter knowledge and experience (plus)
- English (negotiation level), German/Spanish/French skills (preferred)
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Lead and manage a team of software architects and engineers
- Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to the team
- Lead software architecture design for Eurofighter Attack and Identification capabilities
- Ensure compliance with technical and organizational obligations
- Manage and optimize resources for parallel developments
- Make technical decisions for Eurofighter Attack and Identification software
- Ensure team competence and autonomy for delegated tasks
- Define and implement an efficient software tool-chain
- Promote adoption of new tools by team members
- Automate software lifecycle, code generation, and CI/CD
- Transition the team to AI-enabled weapon systems
- Foster adoption of AI tools for faster development
- Develop make-or-buy strategies for software design
- Manage project risks across time, cost, and quality
- Manage interfaces with UK System and Avionics teams
- Interface regularly with customers and representatives
- Check technical deliverables from software suppliers
- Ensure team compliance with regulations and company standards
