Head of Controlling and Risk Management - Grid Automation, Europe(m/w/x)

Description

You will drive financial integrity and sustainable growth by leading the company's European controlling and risk functions while acting as a strategic advisor to the leadership team.

Requirements

• •Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
• •MBA or CPA, CMA, CFA, FRM
• •10–15 years finance and risk experience
• •5 years leadership in multinational environment
• •Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
• •Expertise in financial planning and analysis
• •Experience implementing risk management frameworks
• •Proficiency with SAP, ABACUS, and Excel
• •Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
• •Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• •Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• •Fluency in English
• •Knowledge of additional European languages

Tasks

• •Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
• •Align financial plans with global objectives
• •Monitor and analyze Hub performance
• •Report financial insights and recommend corrective actions
• •Oversee accurate financial reporting and closing processes
• •Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations
• •Maintain a comprehensive risk management framework
• •Establish and enforce strong internal controls
• •Conduct regular reviews to safeguard company assets
• •Advise the leadership team on strategic investments
• •Collaborate with sales, operations, and audit functions
• •Develop a high-performing controlling and risk team
• •Drive continuous process and efficiency improvements
