Tasks
- Prepare HGB monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Create IFRS reporting packages for group consolidation
- Collaborate closely with the group accounting team
- Manage monthly closing processes including accruals and reconciliations
- Analyze general ledger accounts across balance sheets and P&L
- Coordinate external audits as the primary contact for auditors
- Support internal stakeholders regarding financial documentation
- Serve as an SAP S/4HANA subject matter expert for the general ledger
- Develop and automate accounting processes continuously
- Evaluate financial instruments using fair value and amortized cost
- Handle IFRS 16 lease accounting and intercompany settlements
- Analyze M&A contracts and related agreements for accounting impact
- Support group-wide mergers and system migrations
