Requirements

• •8+ years of professional experience or equivalent education and experience
• •Experience in computing workflows across life sciences
• •Capability to establish fruitful relationships with customers
• •Significant experience managing complex market analysis projects
• •Comfort with advanced technologies and collaboration
• •Capability to organize requirements and priorities despite ambiguity
• •Enjoyment of collaborating with multiple teams
• •Technical degree in life sciences with focus on computational methods
• •Deep technical understanding of computational tools and workflows
• •MBA degree with real-world business analysis experience
• •Basic experience in quantum computing hardware and/or software
• •Practical experience with diverse computer science techniques
• •Experience in entrepreneurial team building and product success
• •Experience running market sizing exercises
• •Contribution to market identification and segmentation
• •Strong foundational knowledge about science

Tasks

• •Identify and assess use cases for quantum computers in life sciences
• •Conduct market analysis and revenue opportunity estimations
• •Perform channel analysis and business planning
• •Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of IonQ’s quantum computing offerings
• •Identify and prioritize quantum applications in life sciences
• •Evaluate the attractiveness of quantum applications through rigorous business analysis
• •Lead customer discovery workshops to uncover new quantum application opportunities
• •Ensure technical viability of proposed applications through collaboration with engineering experts
• •Partner with customers to build application roadmaps based on business assumptions
• •Serve as a liaison between customers and internal engineering teams
• •Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to inform proposals and pricing strategies
