Tasks
- Design beam intercepting devices for the ECN3 project
- Assist in high-power Target developments
- Perform thermo-mechanical and CFD studies
- Conduct conjugate heat transfer (CHT) analyses
- Optimize designs and dimension components
- Explore and identify relevant technologies
- Conduct characterization studies and literature research
- Support device procurement and construction
- Collaborate with internal groups and external partners
- Develop scripts for CAE and operations
- Explore and implement AI-related initiatives
- Align engineering specifications with physics requirements
- Present status updates at project meetings
- Propose conceptual designs and component improvements
- Write procurement documents and manufacturing specifications
- Perform hands-on assembly and production work
- Develop technical tools and section guidelines
