Requirements
- 8-10 years experience in International Trading, Forwarding/Logistics, Supply Chain, or Order Processing
- 5 years relevant experience in cocoa business
- Commercial Apprenticeship, export handling degree, or Bachelor in Business Administration/Economics
- Fluent English (written and spoken), French & German (beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, supply chain, and customs procedures
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects across multiple regions and time zones
- Excellent MS Office, Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, ERP, and web-based systems knowledge
Tasks
- Develop and implement global logistics strategies
- Manage end-to-end transportation operations
- Optimize transportation for cost, speed, and reliability
- Support cash initiatives with banks
- Oversee global traffic flow of goods
- Monitor and manage carrier performance
- Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws
- Mitigate transportation and supply chain risks
- Leverage logistics software for tracking and analysis
- Use data analytics to improve delivery performance
- Oversee cocoa bean storage in Northern Europe
- Monitor storage quality and compliance
- Handle special storage cases and retrievals
- Maintain accurate storage data
- Work with insurance providers for risk coverage
- Process transportation-related claims
- Act as certification audit center of excellence
- Coordinate and support audit processes
- Ensure certification compliance and traceability
