Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Strong expertise in materials sustainability standards (ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol)
  • Extensive experience with LCA, EPDs, and global sustainability programs
  • Strong leadership skills, strategic initiative development and execution
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills

Tasks

  • Lead end-to-end management of Material Sustainability pillar
  • Align methodologies for environmental impact assessments
  • Define processes and implement sustainability initiatives
  • Monitor progress across the business unit
  • Contribute to supply chain sustainability strategy
  • Focus on material sustainability and business objectives
  • Monitor material sustainability trends and regulatory changes
  • Integrate trends into strategic and operational plans
  • Develop standardized process flows for material sustainability
  • Identify opportunities to enhance material sustainability
  • Drive decarbonization projects and improve supplier practices
  • Implement performance monitoring systems
  • Track progress against sustainability goals
  • Develop comprehensive database of sustainability data
  • Ensure accurate and consistent LCA/EPD/PCF assessments
  • Engage with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Guide suppliers toward emission-zero goals
  • Develop and deliver training on material sustainability
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Align methodologies with evolving LCA/EPD standards
  • Apply methodologies to transformer-relevant materials
  • Define measurable requirements for suppliers
  • Support internal stakeholders with actionable guidance
  • Assist with material choices, claims, and customer requests

Education

  • Bachelor's degree
