Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Extensive leadership experience in senior supply chain or logistics roles
- Deep understanding of global forwarding operations and 3PL networks
- Demonstrated track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing distribution processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in business English; proficiency in German or additional languages advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally
Tasks
- Lead global logistics functions
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies
- Optimize distribution across various channels
- Negotiate agreements with forwarding agencies and 3PL providers
- Oversee tender processes for cost-efficient services
- Ensure logistics operations deliver high-quality service
- Continuously improve cost efficiency in logistics
- Assess storage and transport capacity for business demands
- Align logistics with future growth plans
- Collaborate with sales to address logistical challenges
- Provide cost analysis and manage import duties
- Support special projects related to logistics
- Oversee daily operations with 3PL providers
- Maintain effective storage systems and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with safety and service level standards

Education
- Bachelor's degree
