Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Experience with OCIT interfaces (C/O) or Datex II implementation/operation
  • Excellent Java skills
  • Beneficial experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with relational/NoSQL databases, data processing, real-time pipelines
  • Knowledge of messaging/streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus)
  • Advantageous Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP optional)
  • Experience in quality assurance, automated testing, code reviews, security best practices
  • Good command of English
  • Beneficial German skills for customer interaction

Tasks

  • Shape digitalization of mobility
  • Develop efficient, safe, and sustainable traffic solutions
  • Enhance full-stack software for urban and interurban traffic
  • Design scalable microservice architectures for safety-critical applications
  • Implement and maintain OCIT interfaces and traffic standards
  • Integrate external systems using standardized APIs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements
  • Contribute to DevOps practices
  • Manage automated deployments, monitoring, and incident handling
  • Operate and maintain existing solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement in development and quality processes
