Tasks
- Refactor and optimize existing software
- Develop new tools and services
- Solve novel problems and expand knowledge
- Drive frontend architecture across product surfaces
- Make decisions on patterns, boundaries, and shared infrastructure
- Own features from design to production rollout
- Lead debugging sessions on the factory floor
- Ensure core web vitals on the consumer side
- Maintain real-time responsiveness on hardware-adjacent side
- Implement frontend security measures
- Understand and mitigate XSS, CSRF, CSP, and dependency risks
- Translate vague needs into technical direction
- Determine when to ship fast or invest in durable solutions
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on production UIs
- Work with operations on scanning and in-store experiences
- Mentor frontend developers
- Review code with intent
- Help establish scalable engineering practices
