Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
  • Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English (written/verbal), German language skills are beneficial
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar)
  • Ability to start immediately

Tasks

  • Support onboarding to the internal DevOps platform
  • Assist with the adoption of curated Azure services
  • Drive the migration of applications to cloud infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and secure-by-design principles
  • Migrate CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab
  • Align CI/CD processes with platform standards and compliance requirements
  • Educate development teams on DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
  • Enable cloud-native development for software teams
  • Create templates, documentation, and training materials to improve developer experience
