Forensic Delegate(m/w/x)
Forensic data analysis and interpretation for international humanitarian law compliance. Masters degree and 5+ years forensic practice required. Internal and external advisory role with complex report writing.
Requirements
- Masters degree or equivalent in Forensic Sciences
- Experience in missing persons investigations, DVI, or forensic case management in human identification
- Computer proficiency and experience with databases or analysis software
- Experience writing complex multi-faceted reports
- At least 5 years forensic practice, DVI, medicolegal/death investigation, or case management experience
- Experience and advanced knowledge in forensic genetics
- Proven experience in teamwork (multicultural and multi-disciplinary preferred)
- Experience promoting professional and ethical standards
- Experience in design and delivery of training
- English (C1 level) mandatory
- French and/or Arabic (B2 level) a strong asset
Tasks
- Deliver forensic expertise internally and externally
- Advise on external forensic casework
- Handle, process, analyze, and interpret forensic data
- Adhere to scientific identification standards
- Comply with ICRC Data Protection management standards
- Design forensic capacity building programs
- Manage forensic capacity building programs
- Provide expertise on project development
- Conduct assessments of local capacity and infrastructure
- Recommend improvements for local capacity and infrastructure
- Collaborate with local authorities and forensic institutions
- Design comprehensive capacity building training
- Deliver comprehensive capacity building training
- Manage program finances
- Support program logistics
- Manage program human resources
