Requirements

• •Education as Fire Officer or related field
• •Recognised Fire Officer certification and incident command training
• •Five years' experience as Fire Officer
• •Understanding of fire station operations and readiness
• •Leadership and decision-making under pressure
• •Experience with partner emergency services and stakeholders
• •Desirable experience in Fire Prevention or response
• •Ability to plan and execute emergency operations
• •Knowledge of incident command and control procedures
• •Occupational safety and crisis management skills
• •Stakeholder relationship management and coordination
• •Health, Safety and Environment expertise
• •Leadership with strength and credibility
• •Teamwork and positive attitude
• •Structured approach and result orientation
• •Problem solving and analytical thinking
• •Willingness to learn and share knowledge

Tasks

• •Command firefighting, rescue, and accident response incidents
• •Coordinate with internal and external emergency responders
• •Oversee personnel, vehicles, and equipment readiness
• •Lead daily fire station activities and shift operations
• •Contribute to emergency preparedness and risk management
• •Execute post-incident follow-up and improvement actions
• •Lead firefighter training, drills, and exercises
