Description

In this role, you will manage daily accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and analyze data to provide insights on company performance. You will also ensure compliance with regulations while improving accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• •At least two years of working experience in a Big4 audit firm
• •Very good knowledge of accounting principles (HGB & IFRS or US-GAAP)
• •Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP (ideally, NetSuite)
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German & English
• •Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse large sets of data
• •High sense of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• •Continuous improvement & development mindset
• •Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

• •Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
• •Maintain the general ledger
• •Process journal entries
• •Perform reconciliations
• •Monitor accounts payable and receivable cycles
• •Ensure timely processing of invoices
• •Manage payments and collections
• •Prepare monthly financial statements
• •Prepare quarterly financial statements
• •Prepare annual financial statements
• •Coordinate financial reporting for subsidiaries
• •Perform consolidation processes
• •Analyze financial data
• •Provide insights on performance and financial health
• •Maintain accounting policies and processes
• •Improve internal controls
• •Ensure compliance with tax regulations
• •Adhere to regulatory and statutory requirements
