Tasks
- Coordinate preparation of all financial reports
- Ensure reports comply with local GAAP, IFRS, and Eurofins Group requirements
- Coordinate year-end close processes and financial statement audits
- Assist business controlling with annual budget coordination
- Integrate newly acquired companies financially
- Support purchase accounting
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team
- Support legal and business reorganizations
- Support Group-wide projects and initiatives
- Support implementation of Eurofins policies and procedures
- Monitor and interpret actual financial data results
- Perform variance analysis
- Provide financial analysis for management decisions
- Assess current accounting operations and processes
- Implement accounting best practices
- Evaluate and implement internal control systems
- Evaluate and implement risk management processes
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations (CIT, TP, VAT, payroll tax, WHT)
- File tax returns and reports
- Serve as the main contact for local tax authorities
- Actively manage Net Cash, Cash Flow, and Net Working Capital
- Propose, validate, and implement corrective actions
- Align financial metrics with activity levels and targets
- Maintain Eurofins' compliance and control framework
- Execute the annual external audit process
- Manage relationships with external auditors
- Develop and deploy action plans for identified deficiencies
- Ensure and improve internal control systems and processes
- Ensure application of Eurofins Group accounting and reporting rules
- Drive implementation of standard processes and systems
- Collaborate with Business and Group Finance functions
- Create and manage a strong finance cooperation framework with business unit managers and controllers
