Requirements
- Master’s degree in international affairs, political science, economics, development studies, communications/journalism, or related fields
- Understanding of International Geneva dynamics and/or UN system
- Familiarity with WTO/Geneva trade ecosystem or ability to rapidly build expertise
- Understanding of Swiss authorizing environment and relevance to World Bank Group relationship
- Ability to map stakeholders and support relationship management
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
- Ability to distill complex issues into crisp briefings and insights
- Ability to monitor trends and synthesize implications for engagement
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize under pressure
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs on tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion and diplomacy
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environment and with stakeholders
- High judgment, tact and discretion in handling sensitive issues

- High proficiency in advanced functions of standard World Bank technology packages
- Strong hands-on coordination capability (events, logistics, tracking, production)

Tasks
- Support relationships with Swiss federal counterparts and stakeholders
- Monitor and synthesize political, economic, and budget developments in Switzerland
- Prepare senior management engagements with Swiss and multilateral counterparts
- Plan and implement outreach activities to build support for World Bank Group initiatives
- Support Geneva Office’s engagement with UN entities, WTO, and other international organizations
- Draft policy briefs, meeting briefings, and stakeholder updates
- Prepare for participation in official sessions, briefings, and interagency meetings
- Coordinate across CER and operational teams for consistent messaging
- Organize meetings and events, including scheduling and note-taking
- Maintain stakeholder contact lists and events calendar
- Prepare presentations and materials for internal and external audiences
- Provide surge support during peak periods and major conferences
