Requirements

  • PhD or Master's degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or similar
  • Profound experience in high power electronics in industrial context
  • Deep expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control, and hardware design
  • Theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles and multi-level converters
  • Relevant Solar PV product development expertise desirable
  • Proven experience with new technology development initiatives and technical leadership
  • High level of self-reliance and autonomous target-oriented work style
  • Occasional travel related to ongoing projects, seminars, conferences
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, additional languages a plus

Tasks

  • Lead internal and external stakeholders to define Solar PV and BESS requirements
  • Develop technology roadmaps for next-generation Solar PV and BESS architecture
  • Research and develop novel power conversion architectures and converter topologies
  • Propose innovative solutions for DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion
  • Collaborate with external R&D institutes and universities on converter and control algorithms
  • Generate novel ideas and file for intellectual property protection
  • Mentor cross-discipline R&D staff members
