Requirements

  • 8+ years solution selling or similar transferable skills
  • Experience selling to F500 clients and cross-functional decision makers
  • Strong solution selling skills articulating software value
  • Familiarity with procurement and billing/AP space
  • Excellent discovery skills leading customer conversations
  • Knowledge of software integration principles, platforms, and APIs
  • Strong solutioning mindset helping customers envision needs
  • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Self-starter, quick to grasp new technology
  • Fluency in German (C1/C2 or native)
  • Integration or development experience with REST APIs and middleware tools (plus)
  • Experience with demoing, implementing, or administering key applications (ERPs, CLMs, GRC, etc.)
  • Industry or solutioning experience with P2P/Fin-tech tools

Tasks

  • Serve as primary pre-sales technical contact
  • Champion Zip solutions to prospects
  • Collaborate with account executives and sales managers
  • Advise prospects on Zip’s value and fit
  • Translate customer needs to post-sales consultants
  • Provide expert knowledge on Zip’s capabilities and roadmap
  • Gather and share customer feedback for product development
  • Develop innovative solutions for customer pain points
  • Contribute to the growth of the Pre-Sales organization
  • Support sales efforts in customer-facing conversations
  • Conduct effective discovery and solution demonstrations
  • Handle customer questions and objections
  • Respond to customer requests and follow-up questions
  • Create and deliver custom demos
  • Lead and scope proof-of-concept (POC) projects
  • Partner with Post-Sales for seamless customer transitions
  • Ensure successful onboarding by setting proper expectations
  • Provide feedback to improve processes and products
  • Support sales objectives and strategy
  • Influence strategy across all market segments
  • Contribute to the foundational success of Zip in the region
