Engineering Program Manager(m/w/x)
As an Engineering Program Manager, you will lead engineering and quality initiatives for gas turbine engines, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure program success while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant degree with specialization in Gas Turbine Technology
- 15+ years of experience in aerospace, gas turbine engineering, MRO, program management, or technical operations
- Strong background in gas turbine engines, including experience with commercial and military platforms
- Proven leadership of engineering or aftermarket programs with cross-functional and multinational coordination
- Experience with MRO operations, planning, material management, and engine work-scope development
- Solid understanding of aerospace quality systems, configuration control, and airworthiness principles
- Ability to manage complex partner interfaces and influence across joint-venture environments
- Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of issues through closure
- Combination of deep engineering knowledge with strong program leadership
- Understanding of technical, operational, and commercial dimensions of gas turbine engines
- Ability to work well in a global matrix environment and enjoy aligning teams
- Initiative, independence, and high sense of responsibility to airworthiness, safety, and customer commitments
- Legal authorization to work in Switzerland
Tasks

- Drive program schedules and budget control

- Support engineering change management and service bulletins
- Integrate reliability data into program improvement plans
- Chair technical and program reviews
- Prepare management briefs and partner updates
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and airworthiness standards
- Lead issue resolution using structured problem-solving tools
