Requirements

  • Technical education or degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable
  • Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems
  • Experience in GMP-regulated environment or understanding of regulated production
  • Support stable operation, maintenance, lifecycle management of automation systems
  • Experience with incident analysis and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with change management processes
  • Understanding of qualification and validation activities
  • Basic experience supporting audits, inspections, deviations, CAPAs
  • Structured, reliable working style with strong quality, safety, compliance sense
  • Interest in or initial experience with digital tools, data analytics, AI solutions
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, ways of working
  • Collaborative work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, IT, external providers
  • Good communication skills in English and German
  • Experience with Emerson DeltaV or comparable distributed control systems
  • Experience in biotechnological or pharmaceutical production
  • Exposure to MES / eBR systems and shopfloor digitalization
  • Experience coordinating or technically leading small automation projects or change packages
  • Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and risk-based system protection
  • Experience working with or coordinating external automation service providers

  • Operate DCS and PLC systems
  • Support and maintain automation systems
  • Act as technical contact for automation
  • Support production during operation and troubleshooting
  • Design and implement automation changes
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance
  • Identify and implement improvements
  • Enhance equipment availability
  • Reduce production cycle time
  • Execute automation-related projects
  • Support project design to handover
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and external partners
