Engine Control Engineer(m/w/x)

Description

You will drive the development of high-thrust rocket engine controllers, from defining regulation strategies to leading critical test campaigns that ensure hardware performance.

Requirements

• •Master's degree in Engineering or bachelor's with substantial experience
• •Minimum 5 years of controller development experience
• •Strong fundamentals in control theory
• •Understanding of safety-critical design and reliability engineering
• •Experience writing Python and Matlab scripts
• •Basics of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
• •Optional knowledge in electronic hardware design
• •Optional knowledge of space standards and regulations
• •Optional hands-on hardware development experience
• •Strong ability to work in collaboration
• •Strong oral and written communication skills
• •Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• •Strong research and information inference skills

Tasks

• •Define engine regulation strategies with functional engineers
• •Collaborate with the System Team Lead on maturation logic
• •Design engine controllers and component interfaces
• •Engage stakeholders for subcomponent and avionics development
• •Contribute to engine subsystem specifications
• •Lead hardware-in-the-loop test campaigns for performance validation
• •Produce high-quality specifications and justification files
• •Develop comprehensive test procedures and documentation
