Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from Bachelor's/Master's in communications, journalism, public/global health, media, or related field
- Demonstrated interest in communications, public relations, or event management
- Digital savviness, good grasp of social media platforms, interest in visual/multimedia content
- Organization and task prioritization in dynamic environment
- Creativity and attention to detail in idea generation, visual design, and tone setting
- Team player with collaboration enjoyment, initiative, and curiosity
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, or CMS tools (asset)
Tasks
- Contribute to content for website, social media, Intranet, and print materials
- Draft and edit social media posts, news articles, event announcements, and internal communications
- Support engagement activities with external stakeholders
- Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for stakeholder meetings
- Create visual materials like infographics, short videos, and social media graphics
- Use tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for visual content
- Support organization and communication of events such as symposia
- Assist with event logistics and create digital content
- Contribute to daily communications activities in a cross-functional team
