EMEA Logistics Sourcing Leader(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will drive sourcing operations for logistics across the EMEA region, developing strategies and leading teams to enhance supplier relationships and achieve cost reductions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing RFPs, analyzing market trends, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.

Requirements

• •Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
• •Strong knowledge of 3PL, warehouse, ocean, air, and road transportation costing and service level agreements
• •Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, including negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements
• •Fluency in English for negotiation with suppliers; other EMEA languages are a plus
• •Strong analytical skills (cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection)
• •Self-motivation and ability to perform with minimal supervision
• •Strong leadership skills and teamwork
• •Innovativeness in strategic sourcing and supplier relations
• •Excellent presentation and influential skills
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• •Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers
• •Logistics sourcing, operations, or PMO background advantageous
• •Experience in a multicultural environment
• •MBA level qualification

Tasks

• •Oversee sourcing operations for logistics commodities
• •Develop and execute sourcing strategies for logistics service providers
• •Lead regional and subsidiary RFPs for top spending
• •Manage supplier selection and segmentation in the EMEA region
• •Facilitate ongoing hopper filling for logistics services
• •Create and maintain category-specific knowledge assets and market intelligence
• •Enhance logistics sourcing team effectiveness through training
• •Align priorities with regional benchmarking and business groups
• •Ensure compliance with Global Procurement standards
• •Lead, develop, and coach a team of sourcing professionals
