Embedded Power Engineer(m/w/x)
Developing hardware for embedded power systems within electronics-packaging solutions. Proficiency in designing Power Products, PDUs, PCBs with Altium or Mentor Graphics ECAD software required. Full project lifecycle involvement at a global electronics-packaging provider.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics hardware development
- Proficiency in designing and developing Power Products, PDU, DC Power Supplies, PCBs using ECAD software such as Altium or Mentor Graphics/PADS
- Knowledge in developing and implementing embedded firmware for microcontrollers (MCU) using C/C++
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Familiarity with software tools like repository management (Git/Subversion), Jira, and static analysis tools
- Experience working with a team of engineers using Agile methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fluent in English and German
- Comfortable working in a demanding, highly dynamic environment
Tasks
- Develop hardware solutions for embedded power systems
- Take projects from initial requirements to full-scale production
- Evaluate and define technical requirements for new technologies
- Ensure quality, functionality, compatibility, and cost-efficiency
- Analyze and implement testing setups for innovative solutions
- Design complex, multi-interface systems following industry standards
- Enhance existing products through technical and statistical analysis
- Integrate new designs and ensure market readiness
- Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) and mechanical enclosures
- Provide post-production support and collaborate with engineers
- Document hardware design specifications meticulously
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems
- Stay updated on advancements in electronics engineering
- Incorporate innovations into future projects
