Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 5–10 years of experience in electronic or embedded systems development
- Experience with high-voltage systems and safe laboratory practices
- Strong skills in C programming for embedded applications
- Experience in firmware testing, debugging, and validation
- Familiarity with hardware design, simulation and PCB layout
- Hands-on mindset — comfortable with soldering, testing, and circuit troubleshooting
- Proven ability to manage suppliers and coordinate external engineering partners
- Strong understanding of project management methods, both waterfall and agile
- Excellent communication skills in English (min. C1) and German is a plus
- Autonomous, trustworthy and results-oriented, with excellent teamwork and communication skills
Tasks
- Lead electronic and firmware development projects from prototype to production
- Design and validate electronic architectures for novel technologies
- Develop and test embedded firmware for control, signal processing, and communication
- Perform make-or-buy analyses and manage development activities
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for manufacturability and integration
- Document technical requirements and track project milestones
- Adapt electronic platforms to specific customer applications
- Assemble, test, and debug prototypes while developing supporting documentation
