Requirements
- Ability to travel to temporary duty stations on short notice and for extended periods
- High School diploma
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
- Ability to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Computer skills
- Valid US driver's license
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain German driving license within 6 months
- Previous work experience in OCONUS environment (preferred)
- Ability to obtain German forklift license
- DOD Secret Security Clearance (required)
- Eligibility for NATO Secret Indoctrination
- Current Secret clearance possession (required)
- US Citizenship (required for Secret Clearance)
- Ability to maintain clearance throughout employment
- Physical ability for extending reaching, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use MS Office/Computer
Tasks
- Conduct realistic TTAO training using fixed, mobile, and MANPORTABLE mission systems.
- Maintain a safe workplace.
- Prioritize safety.
- Operate GBAD system simulators and associated equipment.
- Understand U.S. Aircrew survivability tactics.
- Employ near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics per requirements.
- Operate legacy threat emitters up to U.S. Secret training parameters.
- Perform operator-level maintenance on electronic equipment (JTE, radar, EW).
- Repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components and machinery.
- Set up, tear down, and ship EWOTIM PWS equipment using manuals and test equipment.
- Transport and secure munitions.
- Travel to temporary duty stations for missions, training, and conferences.
- Report equipment deficiencies or outages to Maintenance Control.
- Perform corrosion control and equipment repair.
- Complete IMDS inputs for repair actions.
- Transport and receive parts, equipment, and vehicles from LRS and VRS.
- Assist with GFP inventories and accountability.
- Complete tags and paperwork for serviceable/unserviceable parts.
- Submit equipment and manual improvement corrections.
- Develop, improve, or correct checklists and procedures.
- Comply with EHS and Quality Assurance requirements.
- Adhere to company and US government regulations.
- Report facility deficiencies or outages to the Facility Manager.
- Move office supplies and furniture.
- Remove snow and ice from facilities.
- Clean areas, vehicles, and equipment via sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, dusting, and power washing.
