Requirements

• •Experience with complete development cycles
• •Proficiency in circuit simulation tools
• •Experience with Altium Designer tools
• •Experience debugging EMC issues
• •Experience with communication technologies
• •Experience in power supply design
• •Experience in fail-safe hardware design
• •Logical and methodical fault-finding approach
• •Mandatory English and spoken German
• •Optional experience in power supply design
• •Optional experience in electronic metrology
• •Optional software or firmware programming experience
• •Optional knowledge of directives and standards

Tasks

• •Develop electronic hardware designs for electricity meters
• •Create designs from specifications through to mass production
• •Focus on industrial meters and smart grid components
• •Ensure products meet international standards and cost requirements
• •Conduct predevelopment, feasibility studies, and technical specifications
• •Collaborate with product management to define requirements
• •Create simulations, schematics, and design descriptions
• •Coordinate with layout, mechanical, and firmware departments
• •Select, evaluate, and qualify electronic components
• •Perform reliability assessments including MTBF and derating
• •Manage local components including PCNs and EOL processes
• •Introduce alternative components to the supply chain
• •Participate in design reviews for hardware solutions
• •Execute and document hardware test specifications
• •Support RED and other necessary certifications
