Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Process Safety and High Hazard legislation
- Competence in risk analysis techniques
- Profound work experience within the Chemical or Bio-manufacturing industry
- Proven process understanding in Biopharma manufacturing (cGMP & safety aspects)
- Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training
- Ability to deal with high level of ambiguity using coaching skills
- Fluency in English
Tasks
- Oversee EHS programs for the Visp site
- Develop continuous improvement strategies for EHS process safety management
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and international standards
- Conduct risk analysis and provide consultation on explosion protection
- Collaborate with EHS functions on site for program implementation
- Select, train, and guide on EHS process safety tools and data systems
- Perform plant inspections, short audits, and site inspections
- Implement and enhance EHS process safety dashboard and performance monitoring systems
- Create and implement EHS process safety standards for Visp
