- Represent the domain in high-level decision-making
- Review RFCs and guide architectural decisions
- Shape bounded contexts during system evolution
- Transition teams from project-based to product-oriented development
- Lead and mentor Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers
- Empower teams to drive continuous improvement
- Scale engineering teams by 30–50% annually
- Collaborate with product counterparts on domain strategy
- Manage stakeholders across sales, operations, and fulfillment
- Make transparent decisions involving complex trade-offs
- Improve incident response and security posture
- Enhance end-user experience and engineering practices
- Balance business needs with long-term technical health
- Oversee domain-level planning and quarterly delivery
- Establish metrics for team health and business impact
