- Knowledge of industry regulations (PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act, GPP, FDA, ACCME)
- Experience in budget management, financial tracking, vendor oversight
- Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT)
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving skills for operations and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail, maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
- Experience in oncology or precision medicine is a plus
- Prior experience in fast-paced, matrixed biotech or pharmaceutical environment
- Familiarity with emerging digital tools for Medical Affairs operations and engagement
Tasks
- Drive operational excellence in European Medical Affairs
- Manage contracting, vendor oversight, budget, and project execution
- Support Regional Medical Team in strategy execution
- Lead continuous process improvement initiatives
- Negotiate, execute, and track Medical Affairs contracts
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Oversee vendor performance, deliverables, and risk mitigation
- Develop and manage Medical Affairs budget
- Ensure accurate financial forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
- Optimize budget allocation with finance and procurement teams
- Monitor spending trends and provide financial insights
- Oversee Medical Affairs project execution
- Establish and manage project timelines and deliverables
- Drive process improvements for operational effectiveness
- Contribute to day-to-day operational processes
- Provide strategic and operational support to European Medical Team
- Support European medical strategy planning and analytics
- Coordinate with Global Medical Ops/PM team on planning and regionalization
- Ensure alignment with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance teams
- Track and report on medical compliance activities
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and governance processes
- Plan and execute medical congresses
- Coordinate medical presence, booth activities, and KOL engagements
- Plan and execute advisory boards and symposia
- Manage contracting, compliance, and logistics for medical events
- Ensure compliance with medical engagement policies and regulations
