Tasks
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for German Medical Affairs
- Lead national medical affairs activities and initiatives in Germany
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including HCPs
- Work with cross-functional teams in commercial, market access, and clinical operations
- Ensure a balanced portfolio approach for promotional and scientific meetings
- Manage national promotional and scientific meetings and materials
- Oversee pricing and reimbursement operations
- Support clinical studies
- Gather national insights for ViiV Germany across the portfolio
- Analyze competitor products and treatment algorithm evolutions
- Provide strategic direction for launch initiatives
- Address challenges and opportunities in the therapy area
- Conduct external advice seeking and market intelligence
- Monitor competitor, payor, and HPC association tactics
- Ensure strategies align with franchise objectives
- Provide portfolio training to VH Germany through your team
- Meet scientific and medical information needs of external opinion leaders
- Direct training of healthcare professionals for scientific presentations
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOPs, and regulations
- Partner with the German management team on European product portfolio
- Act as reviewer and approver of external documents per German legislation
- Ensure legal compliance of product information with marketing authorization
- Observe prohibition of misleading advertising for ViiV products
- Lead the insights process for Germany
- Ensure dissemination of findings and identify tactics across the portfolio
- Lead the national medical education strategy in Germany
- Establish ViiV as a leader in medical education
- Develop strategic materials for German customer-facing teams
- Support the overall portfolio vision for ViiV
- Champion a 'digital first' approach in operational activities
- Maintain high knowledge of the regulatory and ethical environment
