- Understanding of digital systems in pathology
- Experience with IMS, LIS, slide scanners, or AI tools
- Analytical mindset for performance data monitoring
- Ability to drive continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective collaboration with technical staff, pathologists, vendors, and IT
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders
- High motivation for pathology modernization
- High motivation for AI-enhanced diagnostics integration
Tasks
- Harmonize digitalization procedures across pathology sites
- Collaborate with Head Technicians and Pathologists
- Lead quality and accreditation activities for digital pathology
- Monitor turnaround times and manage daily QC tasks
- Train staff on digital infrastructure and software
- Serve as primary contact for scanner providers and software vendors
- Resolve case synchronization issues between IMS and LIS
- Oversee digital scanner performance and maintenance
- Monitor AI tool performance and adverse events
- Evaluate TAT impact and pathologist feedback
- Identify opportunities for AI tool improvements
- Stay updated on digital pathology and AI innovations
- Recommend and evaluate new solutions for pilots
- Collect user feedback and implement improvements
- Coordinate with on-site technical scanning staff
- Ensure high-quality routine operations
- Conduct periodic system evaluations and validations
- Validate new users entering the digital workflow
- Track legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with digital pathology standards
- Prepare for future regulatory changes
