Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable
  • Experience and enjoyment of conceptual development
  • Plastic product development (min 3 years)
  • CAD skills (min 3 years)
  • Open-minded, positive, and self-organizing
  • Systematic, creative, and innovative problem-solving
  • Technical project management skills
  • CAD skills with Siemens NX
  • Knowledge of toolmaking (injection molding)
  • Experience with medical/dental devices or packaging
  • Knowledge of automation technology
  • Simulation technology or self-executed simulations
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in tolerance calculations
  • Knowledge of GPS-drawings
  • German and English spoken and written

  • Manage Design-for-Manufacturing and CAD implementation
  • Execute 3D-modelling and technical drawing
  • Plan and document exploratory pre-development projects
  • Perform workstreams to enhance technical expertise
  • Support product development with technical investigations
  • Prepare specifications and verification documentation
  • Assess design verification and metrology reports
  • Coordinate with external development partners and suppliers
  • Identify product and process innovations
  • Monitor market trends in Dental, Industry, and Surgery
  • Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders
