Development / Design Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• •Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable
• •Experience and enjoyment of conceptual development
• •Plastic product development (min 3 years)
• •CAD skills (min 3 years)
• •Open-minded, positive, and self-organizing
• •Systematic, creative, and innovative problem-solving
• •Technical project management skills
• •CAD skills with Siemens NX
• •Knowledge of toolmaking (injection molding)
• •Experience with medical/dental devices or packaging
• •Knowledge of automation technology
• •Simulation technology or self-executed simulations
• •Knowledge of electrical engineering
• •Proficiency in tolerance calculations
• •Knowledge of GPS-drawings
• •German and English spoken and written

Tasks

• •Strengthen technical core competencies
• •Develop new fluid handling technologies and products
• •Lead design control during concept and product development
• •Manage Design-for-Manufacturing and CAD implementation
• •Execute 3D-modelling and technical drawing
• •Plan and document exploratory pre-development projects
• •Perform workstreams to enhance technical expertise
• •Support product development with technical investigations
• •Prepare specifications and verification documentation
• •Assess design verification and metrology reports
• •Coordinate with external development partners and suppliers
• •Identify product and process innovations
• •Monitor market trends in Dental, Industry, and Surgery
• •Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders
