Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of reliability engineering experience
- Deep command of reliability methods (FMEA, RBD, Weibull, FTA, DFMEA, PFMEA)
- Practical experience with accelerated testing (HALT, HASS, ALT)
- Proven track record implementing reliability processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience with reliability standards (IEC 60300, MIL-HDBK-217)
- Background in high-growth hardware robotics or aerospace
- Experience leading or mentoring reliability teams
- Familiarity with reliability software tools (Relyence, ReliaSoft, ITEM)
Tasks
- Define and document DfR framework
- Embed DfR into product development
- Establish reliability gates and criteria
- Standardize reliability methods across teams
- Lead accelerated life testing programs
- Mentor reliability engineers
- Build community of practice
- Provide expert guidance on design decisions
- Design training programs
- Deliver training to engineers and leaders
- Report KPIs to leadership
- Interface with suppliers on validation
- Evolve reliability standards based on feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends
