Requirements

  • •University degree (Master’s level) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
  • •Knowledge of programming languages C and Python
  • •Experience in operation of IT services
  • •Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Ansible and Puppet
  • •Experience in administration of Linux server systems
  • •Solid, broad-based IT knowledge
  • •Fluency in spoken and written English

Tasks

  • •Operate and maintain existing WebDAV, FTS, and LSDF web portal services
  • •Develop the WebDAV protocol for third-party transfers using FTS and OIDC-based authentication
  • •Create an Apache module for deployment within the LSDF
  • •Enhance the LSDF checksumming service and web portal
  • •Integrate services into the AAI infrastructures of KIT and the NFDI
