Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
- 2+ years experience in Data Science/Machine Learning
- Familiarity with tech stack tools (Python, Spark, AWS, Docker, DataBricks, ONNX, MySQL, Snowflake, Airflow) (plus)
- Familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn) for data analysis/prototyping
- Familiarity with monitoring statistical modeling performance (Prometheus, Grafana, Looker)
- Solid software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, clean code)
- Excellent technical communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Tasks
- Conduct research and experiments on traffic shaping algorithms
- Optimize traffic shaping algorithm performance
- Maximize customer performance
- Develop new traffic shaping optimization strategies
- Build proof-of-concept ML models
- Deploy ML models to full-scale production
- Support analytics projects
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams
- Influence product strategies through analytics
- Monitor and measure statistical model performance
- Build dashboards and alerts for model effectiveness
- Build reusable modules and data structures
- Provide guidance and feedback to team members
- Own complex technical challenges
