You will shape the future of hyperscale data centers by designing advanced control systems for mission-critical cooling, ensuring maximum efficiency through innovative liquid and hybrid thermal platforms.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong background in HVAC or control systems
  • Understanding of chiller plant controls, sequencing, and optimization
  • Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and OPCUA
  • Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and P&IDs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Preferred data center experience
  • Exposure to liquid cooling systems
  • Experience with MATLAB Simulink or similar modeling tools

Tasks

  • Design control strategies for chiller plants and liquid cooling systems
  • Develop sequences of operation for high-density cooling infrastructures
  • Build intelligent logic to optimize PUE and ASHRAE compliance
  • Integrate controls across air-cooled, liquid-cooled, and hybrid systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and field technicians
  • Collaborate with mechanical, applications, and product development teams
  • Translate customer requirements into robust control solutions
  • Standardize control platforms and reusable code libraries
  • Evaluate emerging technologies like AI/ML and digital twins
  • Support development of fault detection and diagnostics
  • Document best practices and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
