Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related discipline
  • •Strong background in HVAC or control systems
  • •Understanding of chiller plant controls, sequencing, and optimization
  • •Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and OPCUA
  • •Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and P&IDs
  • •Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • •Preferred data center experience
  • •Exposure to liquid cooling systems
  • •Experience with MATLAB Simulink or similar modeling tools

Bachelor's degree

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Design control strategies for chiller plants and liquid cooling systems
  • •Develop sequences of operation for high-density cooling infrastructures
  • •Build intelligent logic to optimize PUE and ASHRAE compliance
  • •Integrate controls across air-cooled, liquid-cooled, and hybrid systems
  • •Mentor junior engineers and field technicians
  • •Collaborate with mechanical, applications, and product development teams
  • •Translate customer requirements into robust control solutions
  • •Standardize control platforms and reusable code libraries
  • •Evaluate emerging technologies like AI/ML and digital twins
  • •Support development of fault detection and diagnostics
  • •Document best practices and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
