Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years relevant experience in corporate banking in Switzerland
  • Expertise in complex financing solutions for companies
  • General knowledge of Corporate Finance and Wealth Management
  • Excellent understanding of first line of defence’s role in risk assessment
  • Knowledge of negotiating contractual documents for the Bank
  • In-depth knowledge of trading room services and products
  • Very good knowledge of legal, tax and regulatory framework
  • Solid network of external contacts in Switzerland
  • Fluency in English and either German or French
  • Motivation and enthusiasm for the financial sector

Tasks

  • Acquire new Swiss corporate clients, focusing on family- and entrepreneur-owned companies
  • Build and maintain an external network of clients and strategic partners
  • Identify opportunities to present product offerings to corporate clients
  • Collaborate with the Global Advisory team and Wealth Management relationship managers
  • Leverage expertise to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare proposals offering coherent and innovative solutions for clients
  • Promote the Bank’s value proposition and serve as a key player in its success
  • Act as an ambassador for your area of expertise within the Bank
  • Attract new clients and meet targeted goals for revenue, costs, deposits, and loan production
  • Initiate collaboration with the Global Advisory team and Wealth Management relationship managers
  • Develop innovative proposals showcasing the full spectrum of solutions for corporate clients
  • Present solutions to clients and implement operational workflows after acceptance
  • Assist in the technical training of (senior) Relationship Managers to identify client opportunities
  • Proactively position the Corporate Banking Value Proposition with business development teams
  • Adhere to all procedures and compliance requirements, ensuring proper documentation of customer information
  • Serve as an external ambassador for the BIL Group at conferences and training sessions
