- Affiliation with Literature & Cultural Studies preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

- Previous editorial experience strongly preferred

Tasks
- Guide authors through the publishing process
- Facilitate editorial board members
- Monitor book budget
- Coordinate peer review process
- Update ERP system
- Liaise between Desk Editing, Marketing, and Finance
- Correspond with authors, journal editors, and series editors
- Maintain publishing schedules
- Assist Acquisitions Editors with book acquisitions
- Review proposals and manuscripts
- Develop proficiency with IT systems
- Prepare book manuscripts for production
- Proofread promotion texts and front matters
- Organize ordering of gratis copies
- Request and monitor payments
- Coordinate marketing materials
- Assist with conference planning and reports
- Travel for conferences nationally and internationally
