Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in economics/business, environmental sciences/engineering, computer science, data science, sustainability or related fields
  • Interest in sustainability, climate change, human rights, biodiversity, digital technology implementation, non-financial reporting & assurance, and training in these areas
  • Experience in climate change, nature, responsible sourcing, packaging, circular economy, water management, human rights, or financial/non-financial audit (plus)
  • Ability to work independently across multiple engagements with overlapping deadlines
  • Agility to learn and adapt, ask right questions, strive for best client solutions
  • Familiarity with sustainability disclosure standards, frameworks, questionnaires (ESRS, GRI, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB, SASB, CDP, UNPRI, SBTi, GHG Protocol) (plus)
  • Familiarity with emerging sustainability regulations (Swiss Code of Obligation 964a-c, EU CSRD, EU CSDDD, EUDR) (plus)
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), additional proficiency in German and/or French (plus)
  • Ability to work closely with large teams and in an international environment
  • Capacity to take initiative, overcome challenges, work collaboratively

Tasks

  • Support and advise clients on sustainability strategies
  • Provide assurance over sustainability and non-financial information
  • Develop climate strategies, including GHG footprint and trajectories
  • Assess climate-related risks and opportunities
  • Engage suppliers on sustainability practices
  • Conduct human rights risk and due diligence assessments
  • Contribute to ESG data and IT strategy
  • Implement digital systems for sustainability reporting
  • Gather requirements for digital solutions
  • Benchmark vendors for sustainability tools
  • Design data models and calculation configurations
  • Configure data integration and perform UAT
  • Train users on digital systems
  • Leverage automation and AI for data management
  • Enhance stakeholder engagement and reporting insights
  • Follow regulatory landscape and market trends
  • Communicate regulatory updates to internal and external contacts
  • Support market development through studies and benchmarks
  • Build customer relationships and internal training
  • Analyze sustainability topics independently
  • Evaluate data and prepare results for presentations
  • Support preparation of client proposals, meetings, and events
