- •Experience or interest in software development
- •Experience in data engineering or monitoring
- •Exposure to Linux, scripting, and Git
- •Familiarity with network monitoring or performance analysis
- •Desirable experience with containerised services
- •Python programming and Linux knowledge
- •Familiarity with distributed systems and streaming
- •Advantageous experience or interest in Go
- •Experience with REST APIs and data formats
- •Experience with Kafka or Spark
- •English proficiency and commitment to French
- •National of CERN Member or Associate State
- •Bachelor's, Master's, or comparable qualification
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- •Possession of a University degree
- •No PhD qualification

Tasks
- •Design and deploy XRootD monitoring components
- •Integrate monitoring with CERN and WLCG infrastructure
- •Validate metrics against network traffic statistics
- •Automate data quality and anomaly detection workflows
- •Correlate metrics across distributed computing sites
- •Collaborate with experiment and site administrators
- •Ensure framework interoperability, scalability, and reliability
- •Evolve WLCG dashboards and data analytics services
- •Utilize GitLab CI/CD and Kubernetes environments
