Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or domain science with focus on computational methods, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/or Fortran with understanding of software design, programming techniques, and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with parallel programming in MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and/or OpenACC
- Good communication and organization skills, logical problem solving, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Expertise in computational engineering (CAE, EDA), computational geometry, and linear solvers
Tasks
- Engage with field experts to understand current and future challenges
- Guide application developers and contribute to their projects
- Develop reference codes and libraries for applications
- Create and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures
- Collaborate with architecture, research, and product management teams
- Influence the design of next-generation architectures and software stacks
- Investigate impacts on application performance and developer productivity
