In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing ocular disease research, analyzing complex data to uncover new therapeutic targets while collaborating with scientists and clinicians to drive the development of innovative medicine.

Requirements

• •Dedication to scientific challenges
• •PhD in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, or similar field
• •Demonstrated experience in drug discovery or translational research
• •Experience in disease biology; expertise in ophthalmology is a plus
• •Technical expertise in analysis of high-dimensional genomic data, population statistical genetics, or integrative multi-omics
• •Programming skills in R and/or Python; working knowledge of Linux/Unix and HPC cluster
• •Commitment to clean, well-documented code and reproducible research
• •Strong communication skills for presenting complex results
• •Ability to quickly grasp topics and formulate problem statements
• •Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• •Focus, collaborative teamwork, and exceptional delivery

Tasks

• •Analyze high-dimensional datasets for therapeutic development
• •Collaborate with AI/ML colleagues to apply statistical methods
• •Deliver data-driven insights for portfolio decision-making
• •Contribute to the data and analytics strategy for Ophthalmology
• •Develop relationships with stakeholders in the therapeutic area
• •Represent the Computational Biology team as a scientific partner
• •Foster a culture of scientific rigor and continuous improvement
• •Support team members' scientific growth through knowledge sharing
