Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • •4+ years of commissioning engineer experience
  • •Knowledge of substation SCADA/RTU systems
  • •Knowledge of HMI principles
  • •Knowledge of Hitachi Energy products
  • •Understanding of protection philosophies
  • •Basic knowledge of communication protocols
  • •Ability to read schematic drawings
  • •Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • •Familiarity with SAS/SCADA engineering toolchains
  • •Willingness to learn technical topics
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills
  • •Proficiency in English
  • •German language skills preferred

Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Test and commission substation automation systems
  • •Support the Service Management team
  • •Execute commissioning activities safely
  • •Report hazards and near misses
  • •Follow process descriptions and checklists
  • •Coordinate with engineering and project management
  • •Track and resolve open points
  • •Secure customer sign-off before demobilization
  • •Report site progress and planning updates
  • •Manage commissioning tools and test equipment
  • •Provide marked-up drawings for as-built documentation
  • •Support commissioning planning and implementation
  • •Implement necessary design changes
  • •Coordinate activities for customer acceptance certification
