Requirements
- Technical apprenticeship or professional experience in printing
- Knowledge of colors and color space
- Color accuracy and good color vision
- Knowledge of color measuring systems and formulation software (advantageous)
- Initiative, independent and structured work style
- PC user experience (MS Office)
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Willingness to work shifts
- Good German language skills
Tasks
- Mix printing inks including solvents according to production plans and Pantone specifications
- Create color samples using a laboratory sheet-fed printing press (Labratester)
- Operate the dosing system (Tecos Bruhin)
- Conduct quality control of prepared printing inks using a light booth and spectrophotometer
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all necessary printing inks for production machines
- Develop initial recipes for new products based on customer requirements
- Optimize existing color recipes
- Manage and control inventory
