Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Tasks

  • Set up and operate wave solder machine
  • Operate and maintain foam fluxer
  • Adjust hydrometer for specific gravity and resin ratio
  • Add bar solder, flux, and alcohol to machine
  • Clean and adjust flux density controller
  • Monitor boards for soldering defects
  • Check components for proper seating and quality
  • Dross solder pot to remove impurities
  • Perform daily maintenance on solder pot
  • Drain and clean fluxer weekly
  • Maintain inventory of chemicals and solder
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations
  • Follow company security procedures
